We Got Yer Corn Sheaves Here
Yesterday afternoon my Dad, my uncle, and a mechanic got this corn binder out and working.

In the days before silos (supposely this particular unit is only 75 years old but the design is more like 100) corn for feed would be cut and bound up into sheaves with this machine(which was built to be used with horses,) and just piled in the field until use. Today, you could use them for harvest-themed parties and lawn displays, only $10 each, they are for sale! Well, Dad would like to sell one just to be able to razz the neighbors about doing so.
