Friday Linkage
A drunk Orson Welles shooting a champagne commercial. That reminds me of the excellent Tom Russell song Touch Of Evil from his Borderland album. All I can find of it on the 'Tube however, is this cover by a bar band with terrible audio.
Speaking of celebrity endorsements, this is the first time I've actually seen Salvador Dali, in a commercial from the 70's for Braniff Airways. This one with Andy Warhol is...is...did they overdub his voice?? Their 2-minute commercial about the future of air travel is pretty amusing.
There was almost a bit of a theme developing here, but I need a token non-YouTube link--which now that it's been bought by Google people are assuming will sooner or later be sued out of existence--so...oh, here's an educational article about real-life zombies. Remember don't try this at home, "there is a very small gap between appearing-to-be-dead, and actually being dead."
