A Little Linkage

Sorry about the lack of updates, I was momentarily engrossed by an online Java clone of a computer game I played back in the 80's on my Tandy 1000, Rogue. The graphics are...well, your character is an at sign running around "dungeons" made up of dots and bars, fighting creatures that are letters. I've never been into those dungeons-and-dragons type games(no really,) but it is one of the landmarks in the development of computer games, and you know it does hold up really well. You can play it over and over because everything is randomly generated. The levels are different, you don't know where the monsters will be, you don't even know if the objects you find will hurt or help you. What really makes it unique is that by random I mean random, most times you play it may not even be theoretically possible to win. No one would do that today.
